I have a new employment law role for a mid-level solicitor or legal executive with a growing Warwickshire practice.
My client is based in central Coventry and over the course of the past few years, has steadily grown to a mid-size full-service practice offering a range of commercial and private client legal services.
Their Employment team, which consists of two qualified solicitors plus support staff, advises on a broad mix of respondent and claimant work, though this opportunity would focus on respondent client work. Due to increasing workflows, generated through innovative client products, they are now in the position to recruit an additional lawyer.
You will be around 4 to 5 years' in terms of PQE, with a background in dealing with a wide variety of employment and HR matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
The department is busy but has a strong team-working culture, however, you will be expected to manage your own caseload of work, contribute to marketing and business development activities and work towards the team financial targets.
