The department provides bespoke advice to executive level employees, however, you would be expected to assist with settlement agreements and advising individuals regarding their contractual terms and post-termination restrictions. Employment tribunal experience is a requirement.
You should be a good team player and willing to work at generating good relations with colleagues throughout the business.
Business development, both during and out of work hours, will be required and you should be able to show a strong interest in these types of events and enjoy the social nature of business development.
This role would apply to someone who enjoys the cut and thrust of employment litigation with a variety of non-contentious work.
An eye for detail for producing and marking up employment documentation is essential, ranging from contracts of employment, handbooks, settlement agreements and employee/TUPE provisions in corporate and property transactions.
